A chart that closes complete.

In Aente's EHR, every diagnosis is coded in ICD-10-CM and every visit closes with the required items filled in. Medical directors, hospital owners and payers get records they can audit, without chasing doctors after the visit.

Today, gaps are found after the visit

Diagnoses are typed as free text or picked from outdated lists, and charts are closed with key fields blank. The gap shows up at audit or at billing, when the doctor has moved on and someone has to go back and ask.

In Aente, the visit closes complete

Diagnoses are coded in ICD-10-CM where the doctor is working, what the clinic marks as required cannot be left blank, and everything prints in the same chart report.

For those who need to trust what the record holds

Medical directors

Your clinic decides what is required, and the visit only closes when it is filled in. Less time chasing doctors after the visit.

Hospital owners and managers

Complete, coded records for audits and authorizations, in every unit, from one account.

Payers, audit and quality

Diagnoses in ICD-10-CM, each recorded as principal, secondary or associated cause, and visits that close only with the required fields complete.

Networks in more than one country

Units in the United States, Brazil and Mexico run on one platform, each following its own country's codes, rules, language and currency.

How it works: one visit, step by step

From diagnosis to the chart report, everything happens in the same chart.

  1. 1

    The doctor records the diagnosis

The diagnosis tab searches ICD-10-CM by code or by everyday words, with the doctor's most-used codes first and a browsable index. Each diagnosis is principal, secondary or associated cause.

  2. 2

The doctor fills in the clinic's forms

Your clinic builds its own structured forms. Questions appear only when they apply, so the doctor sees what matters for this patient.

  3. 3

    Required items are enforced

When the doctor finishes the visit, Aente lists every required item still blank, grouped by form and tab, and takes the doctor to it. Items hidden because they don't apply never block. Yes/no questions ask for Yes or No, so "no" counts as an answer.

  4. 4

    Everything stays in the visit

Diagnoses and form answers print in the chart report (PDF), ready for audits and authorizations.

What Aente does

ICD-10-CM at the center of the chart, not a text box

Search by code or everyday words, the doctor's most-used codes first, and principal, secondary and associated diagnoses per visit.

Required means required

Clinics mark items as required in their own forms. A visit can't be finished with a required item blank, and the doctor is taken straight to what is missing.

Built with US standards

ICD-10-CM, CPT, RxNorm and FHIR, in a platform where each location follows its country's codes and rules.

One record across organizations and countries

One professional profile and one patient record across organizations and countries, with units added to one organization account.

What every visit records

Structured data, stored in the visit, ready for internal audit and authorizations.

  • Diagnoses in ICD-10-CM, each as principal, secondary or associated cause.
  • The answers to the clinic's structured forms.
  • The required items filled in: the visit only closes complete.
  • A chart report (PDF) with the diagnoses and answers.

Units in Brazil? The chart also knows the national protocol.

In Brazilian units, the diagnosis code opens the Ministry of Health treatment protocol (PCDT) with its form, and the official consent term (TER) comes out pre-filled, ready to print or sign in the patient portal.

Frequently asked questions

Which diagnosis codes does Aente use in the US?

ICD-10-CM. Each unit follows the code set of its country: CID-10 in Brazil and CIE-10 in Mexico.

Who decides what is required?

Your clinic. Items are marked as required in the clinic's own forms, and items that don't apply to the patient never block the visit.

Can we run units in more than one country?

Yes. One organization account holds units in the United States, Brazil and Mexico, each with its own codes, rules, language and currency.

Does Aente prevent denials?

No system guarantees payment. Aente makes sure the visit closes with the coded diagnosis and the required items complete, which reduces rework after the visit.
